Wife and I spent a week of vacation in Rockland w/ some good friends. After trying lobster rolls from Bar Harbor to Kittery, we decided to stop by Jess’s to make our own. Got 4 whole lobsters freshly steamed, took them back to our hotel and were blown away at the quality and value. It was so good, we made a 2nd trip on our last night in Maine. We purchased 4 steamed lobsters and 3 lbs of 16-20 ct shrimp. Once again - Jess’s didn’t disappoint. I would highly recommend anyone to visit if you’re nearby. Great service and food!!
This is a great place to get live lobsters. They have a beautiful collection of fresh fish to buy, including fresh local lobsters. They also have a lot of cooked seafood items, as well as wine, beer, cider, and lots of meal go-withs, like crackers and dips. It really has a well-curated inventory.
Fresh local scallops, fresh head-on shrimp from Equador, and frozen tiny Canadian shrimp all at reasonable prices. The wine selection is decent too. There were many other foods in this store I want to try, so I'll be back. Nice people too!

Incredible selection of fresh seafood. We got a 3.5lb lobster and it was one of the sweetest and tender I've ever had. Also got 3 of their 4 oyster options, they were also delicious, just wish they sold mignonette!
I wish I lived closer! They carry a bunch if different seafood, all priced very reasonably. I appreciated that they included where each product was sourced from on the price tag. I got six 1-lb lobsters, which were 8 each. They helped me pack them up to travel pack to Pennsylvania and they survived the trip well! They tasted wonderful when we cooked them at home.
Jess’s Market is my go to place for good deals, and the many unusual requests I may have. Such as packing this box for the one available seat, staying within the plane’s weight limits, and accommodations for an early mornings departure. Mission Accomplished! ...
You can taste the sea on the seafood. They’ve helped us ship lobster to family at the holidays now for a couple years and it’s always been tasty and delicious. Great selection of add-on beers and wines as well. Get your seafood, where our restaurants by theirs Sorry, no pictures we ate it all too fast
